We trekked down to Ceasar’s Palace today. The wind was blowing wild on the streets, and even with my ballistic glasses, I still got some sand in the eyes. We dropped into the casino for a few hands of blackjack. When we tried to see the animated statues, we found no joy – they’re under construction. On the way out, we dropped into Field of Dreams. Lo and behold, who do we see there? Pete Rose.

Mitch and I took a cab out to the Pinball Hall of Fame today. Steve took a second out of his busy schedule to join us.
This place is cool. They have a few dozen machines, new and old. You can even play some old-school arcade games. They had Tetris, Donkey Kong, Mario Bros… They even had the original (as in the first one ever made) Space Invaders machine!
Steve, Mitch and I spent far too much money playing Gauntlet. We totally sucked at it, but had a great time.
