Transparent PDF Pricing

3 October 2009 View Comments

I called John to tell him what I found out about the prevailing prices for PDFs in the 96-page and 128-page range.  Have a listen:

I like the way you do business, Mr. Wick.

Ed, I hadn't seen any posts recently on transparent publishing so I wanted to check if I was looking in the right place. I know you and John are busy guys. If this is the way designing games go (sometimes hot, sometimes cold), that's cool too. It makes me feel better that some of the projects I'm working on tend to sit for a bit before being picked up again.

    I hope all is well,
    JJ

Right now, I'm trying to set up a site for us to use as a platform for this project. Until I get it done, we're on hold (since we're doing all the discussion out in the open).

    As a non-programmer, it's taking a little longer than I'd hoped. :)

Understandable. I've been listening to Rob and Joshua's podcast about designing a game, and I must say, while their's is insightful, I find your project more interesting because of the scope that you and John are making visible.

In other words, I think you and John are on the right track and I look forward to 'seeing' more.

    Thanks,
    JJ
